Ms. Westphal’s Class
Can you believe we are only a few months away from completing our kindergarten year? We have learned and explored so much. Here is an outline of what we are working on and exploring throughout tri 3 and to complete the year:
Reading: new guided reading centers focusing on comprehension strategies, review sight words, review and reinforce blends, digraphs, syllables, rhymes etc.
Writing: poetry
Math: addition facts to 20, subtraction facts to 10, measurement
Science: sunshine and shadows, butterflies and insects, plants
Engineering: TBD
Social Studies: Main Streets in the past, present, and future
